Apple introduced the iPad mini 4 along with the iPad Air Pro at its event in California. It has the same 7.9 inch Retina Display with 2048×1536 resolution seen on last year’s iPad mini 3 with Retina Display, but this has Apple A8X chip with M8 motion co-processor, compared to old A7 chip in the mini 2 and mini 3, Touch ID fingerprint sensor and other internals similar to the iPad Air 2.

The Apple iPad mini 4 comes in Silver, Gold and Space Grey colors and starts at $399 for 16GB, $499 for 64GB and $599 for WiFi variants and $529, $629 and $729 for 16GB, 64GB and 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular models, respectively. Apple has discontinued the iPad mini 1 and has kept the iPad mini 2 at a new price of $269. All these are now available for order.
