Microsoft has introduced Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM, two
new selfie-focused feature phones with a 2-megapixel front-
facing camera with LED flash. It also has premium looks since
it has a polycarbonate frame and sand-blasted aluminum back
cover. The phone is 10.9mm thick and weighs just 91.8 grams.
The Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM feature phones have a 2.8-
inch (320 x 240 pixels) QVGA LCD screen, comes with Opera
Mini browser, Bing Search, and MSN Weather, FM Radio,
Bluetooth 3.0 with Slam sharing feature and a 2-megapixel
fixed focus rear camera with LED flash. You can download one
free Gameloft game every month for a year, including
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Midnight Pool.
These run on Series 30+ OS, have 2G connectivity and also
supports micro SD cards up to 32GB. Both these have
1200mAh battery that promises up to 21h talk time. It would
offer up to 27 days standby in the Single SIM variant and up to
28 days standby in the dual SIM variant.
The Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM would be available in black
and white colors and are priced at about US$ 55 (Rs. 3,465
approx.) without taxes. Both these would go on sale in India,
Asia, and the Middle East starting in December with other
markets to follow in 2016.
