YU has officially launched YUNIQUE, the company’s latest budget smartphone. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display at 312 ppi, is powered by a Quad-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and runs on stock Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It doesn’t run on Cyanogen OS out of the box like other YU smartphones, but you can upgrade to Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) by heading to YU service centres for free, flashable ROM will be available in future. It features a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
